Databases
The version states the minimum protal version required to use the database. Please make sure to always use the latest protal version to ensure compatibility.
protal-db-r226-0.5.1a.tar.gz - protal database for bacteria and archaea built from GTDB r226 marker genes. (compatible with 0.6.0a)
protal-mini-db-r226-0.5.1a.tar.gz - protal-mini database, a reduced marker gene set built from the same GTDB r226 genomes. Roughly five-fold less memory (12 GB versus 59 GB) and slightly faster, at near-identical precision and somewhat lower sensitivity. (compatible with 0.6.0a)
